Black and White Flower

I've just added a new item to my Etsy shop.  It's called Black and White flower.

Transportation

I just created a thematically relevant assemblage of scooter images on Etsy.  It's called Transportation.

Lime Peddler, Mexico

This one is from the archives.  I don't shoot a lot of black and white film anymore.  I took this photograph about ten years ago in Mexico.  The man leaning against the wall was taking a break from peddling his limes from his bicycle.

Scooter, Mural, Portland

Who are all these scooter-driving people who insist on parking by artwork and murals?  I am forced to take pictures of them.  Notice the bicycle in the painting.

Motorcycle, Portland Street Scene

Did you notice that the light got really intense this afternoon right before it started to rain so hard?  I took this picture at the beginning of the downpour.  I was taking a photo of something else on Burnside when I came across this street scene.  It's a little steampunk for Portland.  Check out that chain!

In Front of Marrakesh Restaurant

Notice the daffodils coming up.  I took this photograph a few days ago - those flowers are open now.  Maybe you can't see it in this small version, but the bicycle is the same burgundy color as the restaurant's door and the accent color on the building.  I like that sense of resonance in a picture, when elements seem to align on their own.

Bicycle, Nortwest Portland

I can't decide between these two version of this bicycle scene.  Any thoughts?

Caution Cones

The sun has been more cooperative than expected the last few days, and I've gotten some good shots walking around NW Portland near work.  This car is a stunner, and the orange caution cones only serve to highlight the bold color scheme of the car's paintwork.
